ADD/ADHD therapy

ADD/ADHD Therapy in Marietta, Roswell, and Atlanta

Transform how you work with your ADHD brain. Develop practical strategies to improve focus, manage time, and harness your natural creativity and energy.

Understanding ADD/ADHD

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) affect how the brain regulates attention, impulse control, and activity levels. Far from being simply about "not paying attention," ADHD involves complex executive function differences that impact organization, time management, emotional regulation, and working memory.

ADHD presents differently in everyone. Some experience primarily inattentive symptoms (difficulty focusing, forgetfulness, distractibility), while others show more hyperactive-impulsive traits (restlessness, interrupting, difficulty waiting). Many people have a combination of both types.

Living with ADHD often means having incredible creativity, the ability to hyperfocus on interesting tasks, spontaneity, and out-of-the-box thinking. The challenge comes when the world demands sustained attention on tasks that don't engage your interest, or when executive function struggles make daily organization feel impossible.

Adults seeking a formal diagnosis can start with our psychological testing and diagnostic evaluations, including comprehensive ADHD testing with Dr. Alex Crenshaw at our Roswell office.
