About Karen:

Karen is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) and a Certified Addiction Counselor (CADCII) with over 15 years of experience in helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. Her educational background includes a master’s degree in Professional Counseling and a BS in Psychology from Liberty University. 


Karen’s passion lies in providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. With her kind and patient guidance, they can work toward overcoming obstacles to healthier lives and relationships.

Karen specializes in working with adults, adolescents, families, and couples.  She has helped clients  with substance use and dependency, grief, anxiety, depression, abuse, trauma, and relationship issues. Her approach is integrative and trauma-informed, utilizing person-centered therapy to tailor the best treatment plan for each individual.


Karen is passionate about the potential for complete healing and life recovery, utilizing clinically effective and holistic individualized treatment models.  She enjoys walking alongside her clients on their journey, helping them to set goals and work through cognitive, emotional and relational obstacles.


Outside of her practice, Karen enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren, cooking, hiking, and listening to music.
