Samantha is a Licensed Professional Counselor and she holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. In addition to her Masters Degree, Samantha has completed, The Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Level 1 and Level 2 Training as well as The Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Anxiety Certification.


Samantha employs an integrative approach to counseling believing that each person is different in how they view their situations and react to conflicts and struggles. She believes that psychotherapy should be tailored to the unique needs and contexts of the individual, and her intention is to help clients to select and work towards their own goals, both in counseling and in their daily lives. The counseling relationship is a personal and important one, and within it, Samantha aims to assist clients in examining thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and to identify, and build upon personal strengths.
